Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol

"Wow, where do I even begin? I planned a surprise birthday staycation for my husbands 55th. I curved in early so I could decorate the room. I needed glasses for guests, called front desk and they promptly complied. Not only did they bring glasses , but also a nice gesture of champagne, flutes, a signed birthday card for my hubby, and charcuterie tray. How thoughtful! After an amazing intimate dinner with family and friends at Jgilberts ( you must dine there), we went upstairs to an executive suite with a panoramic view room 401. A truly beautiful and spacious room with a great view. We were a small group of 11, having a great time listening to conversational music and enjoying the moment. Sadly, within the span of 20min we received two complaints of "disturbing the peace", a 3rd would require leaving the premises. Now it was not even 9pm yet, and on a friday night. We were beside ourselves. We immediately went down to speak to the night manager, Heather. We explained the situation and how deeply disappointed we were to hear we received such complaints. Not only did she listen and understand, she made things right. We were upgraded to the 12th floor suite , 1209, where we were allowed to continue the momentous occasion without missing a beat. And the other patrons could continue their slumber, I guess. Lol. It was an amazing and unforgettable event. The valet staff , Bri, was amazing and so helpful. We will definitely be back for future occasions and events! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"

"I recently stayed at the Marriott Omaha at the Capitol District while attending a conference, and everything about the experience was truly exceptional. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, the location couldn’t have been more convenient, and the conference facilities were top-notch. Everything ran smoothly and felt thoughtfully designed. One highlight of my visit was an evening at the hotel bar with a local friend. The atmosphere was welcoming on its own, but the General Manager, Carlo, went out of his way to stop by and ensure we were having a great time. His genuine hospitality made our night even more memorable. Overall, this hotel exceeded every expectation. I’ll absolutely choose it again the next time I’m in Omaha. Highly recommended!"

This was our second year coming to the Marriott Downtown Old Market to celebrate our special weekend together, and once again—it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. A huge shoutout to Audrey, who helped set everything up perfectly, and Ruby at the restaurant—she was so kind and thoughtful. Our 12th-floor corner room was beautiful, private, and had an incredible view. Between J. Gilbert’s, the pool, and all the thoughtful gifts—champagne, wine, and more, we truly felt like royalty. Every detail made our stay unforgettable. The team here goes above and beyond, and we’re already counting down the days until we come back next year for our 24th anniversary! ❤️😍🥹 Love you all!
