About The Hotel
Waikiki’s beachfront gem offers something special for hot tub lovers: select suites with private in-room whirlpools that overlook the Pacific Ocean. These rooms aren’t just a place to sleep - they’re a relaxation paradise where you can soak away your travel stress while watching waves crash outside your window.
Guests really like this place, ranking it #12 out of 108 Honolulu hotels on TripAdvisor with a solid 4.4 rating. The in-room hot tubs are a big reason why. After a day of surfing or sunbathing, you can slide right into your personal jacuzzi and let the warm water massage your muscles. The rooms are spacious, clean, and come with all the extras like room service and WiFi.
The resort sits right on Waikiki Beach, which means you’re steps away from swimming, snorkeling, and Hawaiian adventures. But the real magic happens when you return to your room and sink into that bubbling hot tub. Pro tip: Request an ocean-view suite with a jacuzzi when booking to get the best possible relaxation experience. This isn’t just a hotel room - it’s your personal Hawaiian retreat.

What guests are saying about Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort:
"First time at this hotel. Great location - one of like only 7 hotels that are on the beach, and right in the center of everything Booked through Costco, got a great price. Booked a Club Room- would recommend if you can get a good rate. You get free breakfast, and appetizers and free drinks from 4:30- 6:30. Saved a bunch of money not having to worry about breakfast and dinner everyday. Love the atmosphere of the hotel - live Hawaiian music every night. Highly recommend this hotel!"

Dining was delicious and the open air and view of the beach was a splendid perk. So were the little birds fluttering here and there in the seating area to day hello and pick up crumbs. And the Blue Note in the hotel to listen to live music was a blast. Great experience and fantastic stay."

View on Google"Loved the location on the beach in the heart of Waikiki. We liked the island vibe, two beach front restaurants, good food and bevs, live music nightly, and reasonable pricing given the location. Ability to reserve restaurants for a specific time in advance would be an improvement vs. waitlists. Pool seating and guest amenities including bar and restaurant service were a great plus. The room was fine, although a bit dated with a few small quirks, like the effective air conditioning blowing right on the bed, making it uncomfortable overnight. Shops, including a number of good clothing shops and a small ABC were nice to have in the lobby. We had a city view room but the small outdoor balcony (a nice touch) gave us a partial ocean view, including decent views of a portion of the horizon at sunset. The older windows/sliding door may have contributed to the amount of overnight and early morning noise from tricks, sirens, occasional yelling. If you're a light sleeper, it could be an issue for you. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Note that overnight valet parking is $60."
